The DY320 is a ruggedized cylinder head specifically engineered for the high-impact world of 110cc pit bikes and minimoto racing. Unlike standard scooter heads designed for steady cruising, pit bike engines are subjected to abrupt throttle inputs, wheelies, and constant RPM fluctuation. To meet these demands, the DY320 features High-Velocity Intake Ports. These runners are shaped to accelerate the air-fuel charge, ensuring immediate throttle response and the punchy low-end torque required to clear jumps or power out of deep berms.
Durability is the core of the DY320's design philosophy. We utilize a reinforced aluminum casting with thicker wall sections around the exhaust port and mounting bosses to withstand the vibration and physical impacts common in off-road riding. Recognizing that mud and debris often clog cooling fins, we have designed the DY320 with extra-deep, widely spaced cooling fins. This maximizes air penetration and heat dissipation even when airflow is restricted, preventing overheating during slow, technical trail riding or intense track sessions. This head comes pre-machined with hardened valve seats to handle the stress of high-lift aftermarket camshafts often used by enthusiasts.
