The DY297-1-112 showcases Feiya’s specialized Anodizing Surface Treatment, a process that enhances both the durability and the visual appeal of aluminum cylinder head components. Unlike simple paint or powder coating which sits on top of the surface, anodizing is an electrochemical process that converts the metal surface itself into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, anodic oxide finish. Before the anodizing tank, we employ a precise glass bead blasting step. This pre-treatment cleans the metal and creates a uniform, non-directional matte texture, eliminating machining lines and ensuring the final color is rich and consistent without a "plastic-like" gloss.
The functional benefits of this finish are critical for exposed motorcycle engines. The anodic layer is extremely hard—second only to diamond in crystalline structure—providing excellent scratch and wear resistance against road debris and mechanic's tools. Furthermore, it completely seals the aluminum against environmental corrosion, preventing the white oxidation "bloom" caused by humidity and road salts. From a thermal perspective, our anodized finishes (particularly black) can actually enhance radiant heat dissipation compared to bare aluminum.
