The DY107-1 Anti-static Vapor Recovery Nozzle is designed with the single most critical aspect of fuel handling in mind: Explosion Prevention. In vapor recovery systems, the concentration of flammable hydrocarbon fumes in the nozzle path is significantly higher than in standard fueling. The rapid flow of fuel combined with dry air conditions can generate dangerous levels of static electricity. If this charge builds up without a path to ground, it can discharge as a spark at the fill point—precisely where the explosive vapor mixture is most concentrated.
To neutralize this threat, the DY107-1 features a continuous conductivity path. Unlike standard nozzles that may use insulating plastics, this model utilizes conductive composite materials and metal-to-metal bonding from the spout tip, through the body, and into the wire-braided hose connection. This ensures that any static charge generated by the friction of flowing fuel is instantly dissipated to the ground. This "Zero-Potential" design meets the strictest international safety standards (such as ATEX or UL), providing peace of mind for station operators in low-humidity environments where static risk is highest.
