The DY323 Cold Weather Resistant Fuel Nozzle is engineered specifically for fueling operations in extreme low-temperature environments, where standard nozzles fail. In sub-zero climates, ordinary rubber seals harden and shrink, leading to dangerous fuel leaks, while standard scuff guards become brittle and crack. The DY323 addresses these critical failure points by utilizing Arctic-grade elastomers for all internal O-rings, diaphragms, and gaskets. These specialized materials retain their elasticity and sealing properties down to -40°C, ensuring a leak-free seal and reliable automatic shut-off performance even in the dead of winter.
Beyond internal sealing, the user experience is optimized for cold hands and heavy gloves. The DY323 is wrapped in a low-temperature flexible insulator. Unlike standard PVC covers that turn rock-hard in the cold, this advanced polymer compound remains pliable, providing a secure grip and insulating the user's hand from the freezing aluminum body. The internal latching mechanism is also designed with extra tolerance clearances to prevent moisture from freezing the trigger in the open or closed position, guaranteeing that the pump can be operated safely and easily regardless of the ambient temperature.
