The YZ135 Concentric Slave Cylinder (CSC) represents the evolution of clutch actuation technology, designed to replace the entire mechanical linkage system found in older transmissions. By combining the hydraulic slave cylinder and the release bearing into a single unit that mounts coaxially around the transmission input shaft, the YZ135 eliminates the need for clutch forks, pivot balls, and pushrods.  This reduction in moving parts not only minimizes potential failure points but also removes the friction and flex associated with mechanical leverage systems, resulting in a clutch pedal that feels lighter and more precise.

Engineered for reliability, the YZ135 features a high-strength housing (available in reinforced polymer or aluminum) that resists the heat and vibration of the bellhousing environment. The internal hydraulic piston is sealed with premium EPDM O-rings, providing robust resistance to high-temperature brake fluid and preventing the leaks that lead to pressure loss. A key advantage of the YZ135 is its constant-contact, self-adjusting geometry; as the clutch disc wears and the pressure plate fingers move outward, the CSC automatically retracts to maintain the correct clearance. This ensures that the clutch engagement point on the pedal remains consistent for the entire life of the clutch kit, without the need for manual adjustment.
