The DY195 Corrosion Resistant Internal Parts Kit is the essential upgrade for fuel nozzles operating in the modern era of oxygenated and renewable fuels. Standard steel and rubber components, designed decades ago for pure gasoline, degrade rapidly when exposed to today's aggressive additives. Ethanol blends (E10, E15, E85) and Biodiesel are hygroscopic (absorb water) and chemically reactive, causing standard springs to rust and seals to swell or crack. The DY195 kit replaces these vulnerable core components with commercial-grade stainless steel and high-fluorine polymers.
This kit typically includes the main poppet valve, valve stem, latching mechanism, and main spring. By utilizing 304 or 316 Stainless Steel, the metal components become immune to the rust and oxidation that cause valves to stick or leak. The sealing elements are upgraded to Viton® or equivalent Fluorocarbon elastomers, which maintain their dimensional stability and sealing integrity even after years of exposure to alcohol-based fuels.
