The YZ118 CSC Bearing with Dust Seal is engineered to solve the #1 cause of hydraulic clutch failure: internal contamination. In a standard transmission environment, the clutch disc constantly sheds abrasive friction material (clutch dust) as it wears. Without adequate protection, this fine grit can migrate into the slave cylinder's bore, scoring the polished walls and tearing the delicate hydraulic seals. The YZ118 features a specialized external-facing dust wiper seal integrated into the bearing carrier.  This secondary seal acts as a barrier, physically sweeping the input shaft and cylinder body clean with every stroke, ensuring that contaminants never reach the primary pressure seals.
