Standard drilling methods are insufficient for the long, narrow galleries required in motorcycle cylinder heads, as bits tend to "wander" or deflect. We utilize advanced Gun Drilling (Deep Hole Drilling) technology. This specialized process uses a single-flute drill with internal coolant delivery to blast chips out of the hole as it cuts. This guarantees that the oil gallery is perfectly straight, maintains a consistent diameter, and hits its intersecting target point with absolute precision.
Beyond drilling accuracy, the most critical factor in oil passage manufacturing is cleanliness and flow integrity. A single metal chip left inside a gallery can catastrophically starve a camshaft bearing of oil.
