The YZ107 High Temperature Release Bearing Seals are engineered for the extreme environment of motorsports and heavy-duty towing, where standard hydraulic seals often surrender to heat soak and pressure spikes. While standard EPDM rubber is adequate for daily driving, it can suffer from "compression set" (flattening out) when exposed to the sustained high temperatures of a track session or a steep mountain climb. The YZ107 utilizes Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber (HNBR) technology.  This material is hydrogen-saturated to create a molecular structure that is significantly tougher and more resistant to thermal degradation than conventional rubbers, capable of maintaining a positive seal at temperatures exceeding 150°C (300°F) for prolonged periods.

Beyond heat resistance, the YZ107 features a dynamic double-lip profile. Unlike single-lip O-rings that can weep fluid under rapid pressure changes, this specialized geometry utilizes the hydraulic pressure itself to force the seal tighter against the cylinder wall—meaning the harder you press the pedal, the tighter the seal becomes. This "pressure-energized" design ensures zero bypass leaks even during the rapid-fire shifting of drag racing or drifting.
