The YZ107 Low Friction Hydraulic Release Bearing is engineered for drivers who demand the most responsive and effortless clutch operation. In standard hydraulic systems, the "stiction" (static friction) between the rubber seals and the cylinder wall can cause a notched or heavy pedal feel, especially during slow, precise modulations like those required in heavy traffic or technical racing maneuvers. The YZ107 eliminates this through a specialized internal surface treatment.  The internal bore is honed to a mirror finish and then treated with a Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) or Hard-Anodized coating, which drastically reduces the coefficient of friction.

This reduction in friction does more than just improve driver comfort; it significantly increases the service life of the internal seals.
