The DY125 highlights Feiya’s specialized capability in valve seat cutting, the most critical machining operation for determining engine power and longevity. A cylinder head is only as good as its seal; even a microscopic leak at the valve seat results in a drastic loss of compression and performance. To eliminate this risk, we employ high-precision CNC Seat and Guide machines. Unlike manual grinding stones which can wander, our CNC system rigidly pilots off the valve guide bore, machining the seat profile in perfect concentricity with the valve stem axis. This geometric alignment ensures the valve closes squarely every time, significantly reducing valve train wear and noise.
Our process focuses on optimizing airflow through advanced multi-angle seat profiles. Standard seats often use a single angle, but Feiya applies a 3-angle or even 5-angle cut sequence. We machine a steep bottom cut (throat) to guide air into the cylinder, a specific seat width for sealing and heat transfer, and a top cut to smooth the transition into the combustion chamber. This "radiused" approach reduces flow separation and turbulence, effectively increasing the discharge coefficient of the port. Finally, every valve seat is subjected to a vacuum test to verify seal integrity, ensuring that the cylinder head delivers maximum power and reliability immediately upon installation.
