At Feiya, we recognize that the interface between the valve and the seat is the most critical seal in the entire engine. To achieve zero-leak performance, we move beyond traditional grinding stones and utilize state-of-the-art CNC seat-and-guide machines. This equipment uses single-point cutting tools to machine the valve seat and the valve guide bore in one simultaneous operation. This "single-setup" approach guarantees perfect concentricity, eliminating the misalignment that leads to premature valve wear and loss of compression.
Our cutting profiles typically feature a multi-angle design (commonly a 3-angle or 5-angle cut). By precisely machining distinct top, seat, and throat angles, we optimize the airflow path as it transitions from the port into the cylinder, enhancing the discharge coefficient. Furthermore, the precise width and surface finish of the 45-degree seating face are controlled to micron tolerances. This ensures not only an airtight seal for maximum cylinder pressure but also maximizes the thermal contact area, allowing heat to dissipate efficiently from the hot valve into the cylinder head cooling jacket. Every unit undergoes strict vacuum testing to verify seal integrity before shipment.
