Model ID: DY325-2-R
The DY325-2-R cylinder head is purpose-built for the extreme environment of competitive motorcycle racing. In track conditions, engines operate at sustained high RPMs, generating intense thermal loads that can cause standard aluminum alloys to soften or warp. To combat this, Feiya utilizes a premium A356 aluminum alloy combined with a specialized T6 heat treatment process. This solution alignment and artificial aging significantly enhance the material's mechanical properties, specifically its tensile strength and hardness at elevated temperatures, ensuring the head maintains its structural integrity even during the final lap of an endurance race.
Beyond material science, the physical design is optimized for high-performance valve trains. Racing engines often utilize aggressive camshaft profiles with high lift and long duration, requiring stiff valve springs. We have reinforced the rocker arm supports and valve spring seats with additional material thickness to handle these increased mechanical stresses without flexing. The water jackets are also redesigned using advanced core technology to eliminate hot spots around the exhaust valves, ensuring uniform cooling. This cylinder head provides the rigid, thermally stable foundation necessary for professional racing teams to push their engines to the limit without fear of component failure.
