Unlike standard OEM replacements designed for a specific factory setup, the YZ130 is a universal-style hydraulic release bearing often used in transmission swaps and high-horsepower builds. It is designed to be adaptable, allowing the installer to dial in the perfect "air gap" between the bearing face and the pressure plate fingers.  This is achieved through a system of adjustment shims or a threaded collar, ensuring that the bearing does not ride the clutch (causing slip) or sit too far away (causing incomplete release).
